CJ (they/them) has been writing for over a decade. Leveraging 12 years of proposal writing, they are a development strategist committed to advancing the arts, grassroots community health initiatives, and advocating for racial, gender, and disability justice.
As a media relations lead, CJ has secured features and reviews for organizations in major publications including The Philadelphia Inquirer and The New York Times. They're proud to have been a selected 2024 Speaker for the Art-Reach Cohort, a Philadelphia-based professional development course on accessibility and the arts for nonprofit professionals across the US.
A graduate of Sarah Lawrence College with a strong focus on writing, CJ also hails from a long line of storytellers: print journalists, television broadcasters, radio hosts, artists, and grant writers are all part of their family tree. Crafting captivating narratives that help people and projects thrive is a skill they love to lend, and a legacy they’re proud to carry forward.
